Description

This book presents a fresh and innovative way of understanding Human Resource Management by connecting it with the principles of physics. It explains HR concepts using ideas from both classical and modern physics, such as motion, energy, thermodynamics, wave theory, entropy, and relativity. Through this interdisciplinary approach, the book helps in understanding human behavior and organisational processes in a more logical and practical manner. It covers important HR areas like employee performance, motivation, leadership, resistance to change, burnout, and organisational culture. At the same time, it also addresses modern workplace challenges such as employee engagement, diversity management, communication patterns, flexible work systems, and employer branding. Each chapter links a specific physics concept with an HR function, making difficult topics simple and easy to understand through relatable examples and analogies. This book is highly useful for students, academicians, and HR professionals who want to explore HR beyond traditional methods and develop a more analytical and innovative approach.
