Description
This is Part II of the book “Memoirs of Some Ex-Servicemen” by this author, published in 2025, which received wide acceptance and won the prestigious TRI-Award 2025. Experiences amassed during his service in the Air Force are narrated in a different and novel style of storytelling. The graphic description of conditions at various military camps 70 years ago, which form the backdrop for human stories of soldiers of yore, will be found very informative. These are presented as partly fictionalised memories of ex-military men, mainly Air Veterans, exchanged during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020. They are members of an imaginary club in the housing colony of a fictitious city called Foujinagar. They are all very senior citizens, supposedly reminiscing about their days of the nineteen-fifties and sixties. The fiction is mixed with and based on true facts and history, masking the identities of persons and places, often jumbling the incidents and actors with places and time.
