About The Author

Shailesh Pardeshi is a storyteller and keen observer of human behaviour – someone who believes that the most powerful stories are hidden in everyday lives. He has spent over fifteen years navigating the constantly shifting corporate & business world – from agile Startups that run on chaos & imagination, to established organizations that worship process, predictability and powerpoint.

Over the years, he has built and experimented with multiple ventures of his own. Some took off beautifully, some failed faster than expected and a few simply taught him lessons disguised as setbacks. But if there is one thing he has stayed consistent with, is: he never stops trying & never afraid to try something new.

That perseverance forms the core of his message to everyone he meets – don’t stop after failure, don’t pause after doubt and don’t let one closed door decide your entire journey. It’s a philosophy he lives by and one he gently reminds his readers of through his writing.

A Millennial surrounded by Gen Z energy, he often shares old-school life hacks and balance tips with his younger friends – and in return, they teach him their ever-evolving dictionary of “ughs”, “it’s giving”, “vibe” and “bruhs”.

Shailesh is also the author of Startup Vs. Stable, a thoughtful, witty exploration of two very different worlds – the thrill of Startups and the depth of Stability. The book captures the emotional tug-of-war people experience when choosing between unpredictable ambition and predictable comfort.

In Career Vs. Life, he brings together stories that reflect modern struggles – guilt, pressure, dreams, balance, love and identity. Through relatable characters and honest reflections, he turns real-life dilemmas into words that stay with the reader long after the last page.

He currently lives in Pune, India – a city he calls “the perfect halfway point between hustle and peace”. When not writing, he enjoys long drives and chasing ideas that often arrive uninvited – on highways or in flights or during project meetings where his mind drifts to daydreams.
