About The Author
Vidya Wankhade has spent over 17 years helping people speak, lead, and communicate like they actually mean it. She’s a British Council–Certified IELTS Trainer, a certified communication coach, and the founder of The Consistent Academy— a learning space built on the idea that language isn’t just grammar; it’s power.
Over the years, Vidya has trained thousands of students, professionals, and leaders to find their voice and own the room. But here’s the thing — while working closely with management students, she kept hearing the same complaint on repeat: “Books are too long.” “They’re boring.”“We don’t have time to read them.”
And yet… these same students are expected to quote books, know frameworks, and sound like they’ve read half the management section in a bookstore.
That’s where this book was born — not out of a fancy think tank, but out of real conversations with real students who want the wisdom but don’t want to suffer through 300-page monologues. So she decided to shrink the giants— to take the most impactful management and self-help books and distill them into punchy, no-fluff, breakthrough summaries that even the busiest corporate warrior can digest with a cup of chai.
Vidya doesn’t preach from an ivory tower. She teaches, coaches, and walks the same hallways as the students and professionals she writes for. This book is her way of saying:
“You don’t have to read every book. But you sure as hell shouldn’t read none.”
