Description
‘Crossroads’ is a one act play set in a luxury hotel room. It highlights complex situations of human existence and emotional corruption of the mind that goes into slumber for pleasure or bursts into violence as a cover-up in the modern world. The play interestingly unfolds a unique journey of life through its characters, an escort and a doctor, to tell dark secrets and realities of their respective lives.
About The Author
Riju Bajaj, born in 1970 in New Delhi, son of Shri Ram Gopal Bajaj & Shrimati Chandrakala Khemchand Prakash Bajaj. Riju has been actively involved in theater and almost all major aspects of film making and theatre ranging from acting, writing, designing, cinematography, producing and directing.
Riju has directed many documentaries and television serials. Riju established his production house RBME to launch his international brand ‘Literature, Illusion, Film, Frame Tv & Theatre India’ known as ‘Lifft India’ in 2017.
Apart from acting on stage, serials and films, Riju also produced, co-wrote and directed critically acclaimed short films The Re-Bell and Fallen In Love. He is known to delve into surrealism and dabbles with subjects on interpersonal relationships, human rights and crime.
In July 2025, the premiere show of the play Crossroads was staged in Mumbai. Riju Produced, Directed and Acted in the play ‘Crossroads’ under Lifft India Banner.
