This book “Father: An Unspoken Love” is an attempt to give words to that silent affection, to bring forth the struggle, sacrifice, and devotion that every father carries for his children—without any display or demand for acknowledgment.
For me, this journey of writing has not just been literary, but also deeply spiritual. Each poem, each memoir, each emotion is connected either to my own experiences or to the relationships I have observed in society.
I realized that a father’s love is not always in a hug, but in dropping you off at school on time. It is not always in sweetness, but in quietly serving food on your plate. This love may remain unspoken, but its resonance accompanies us for a lifetime.
The purpose of writing this book was not only to express my gratitude towards my own father but also to bring every reader closer to their father—to give voice to those unsaid words that they may have always wanted to express, but never could.
I hope this book touches that hidden sensitivity in your heart which might have been buried somewhere deep within.
About The Author
Dr. Avinash Joria is an experienced psychologist, a dedicated educationist, and an active social worker. For many years, he has been working on significant areas such as children’s mental health, family relationships, and parenting, with both research-based and practical approaches. His writings aim to highlight those aspects of society that are often overlooked.
Dr. Joria’s style of writing is simple, genuine, and filled with emotions that touch the reader’s heart. His previously published book “The Lost Childhood of Children” was widely appreciated by readers, as it explored the changing conditions of childhood under the influence of modern lifestyles.
In academics, Dr. Joria earned his Ph.D. from Singhania University, Rajasthan. He completed his B.Pharm and M.Pharm from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor at Maa Sharda Pharmacy College, Chikakhdi, Harrington Ganj, Ayodhya (India).
Along with academics, Dr. Joria is also active in research and innovation. He has two years of practical experience in science and research, during which he worked at the prestigious CSIR-IITR. He also played an active role in the Government of India–sponsored Namami Gange Project (NMCG) and participated in the Ganga Invitation Campaign 2019.
