Description

In a world increasingly plagued by conflict and division, Non-Violence: The Perspective of M.K. Gandhi, Jiddu Krishnamurti, and Johan Galtung by Dr. Subrata Sharma offers a profound exploration of non-violence as a transformative path toward peace. This comparative study examines three visionary thinkers—Gandhi, with his spiritually rooted ahimsa; Krishnamurti, with his emphasis on inner psychological freedom; and Galtung, with his systemic approach to peace and justice. By weaving together political, philosophical, and sociological perspectives, the book uncovers the depth and breadth of non-violence as both a personal discipline and a collective strategy. Through their distinct yet complementary insights, readers are invited to reflect on the possibilities of healing, harmony, and lasting change in today’s fractured world. A timely and thought-provoking work, this book serves as both a guide and an inspiration for those committed to building a more compassionate future.
