Description
Beyond the Battlefield of Kurukshetra: Learnings from the Bhagavad Gita for Personal and Professional Growth
This book is not a scholarly commentary—it is a personal journey of insight and transformation. It began with a sincere question: How can I apply the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita in my everyday life—as a student, researcher, householder, or professional?
Coming from a scientific background in chemistry, I initially approached the Gita with curiosity and skepticism. The verses were profound but felt abstract—until, by the blessings of Lord Krishna, the Vaishnava devotees, and my spiritual teacher, they began to resonate with my daily life and even align with scientific principles.
In this book, I reflect on the first six chapters of the Bhagavad Gita through three interconnected lenses:
• Life Skill Insights – Practical wisdom for personal and professional growth
• Scientific Reflections – Thoughtful parallels with modern science and psychology
• Devotional Realizations – Uncovering the inner spiritual essence of Krishna’s message
The book is structured into 292 concise, easy-to-understand topics, making it approachable for both seekers and thinkers. Written in a clear, relatable style—but rooted in sincere contemplation—it aims to make the Bhagavad Gita accessible, meaningful, and personally transformative, just as it has been for me.
